Statistics confirm that 0.5% to 1.5% of all spectators / participants attending an event will require some form of medical assistance.

First Aid Courses Toowoomba (FACT) can provide professional Emergency First Aid and Advanced Life Support onsite at events throughout the Toowoomba and surrounding areas.

All first aid is administered by paid professionals who are highly trained in all aspects of patient care and are supported by the equipment required for providing lifesaving Primary Response Emergency First Aid – Advanced Life Support.

Our professional Medics and First Responders will attend your event on time, be fully trained, fully equipped providing complete peace of mind for the event organizer.

First Aid Treatment

Our First Aid personnel will provide on-site emergency First Aid Services and Primary Advanced Life Support in the event of an incident.

Coverage will include -

  • Oxygen therapy.
  • AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).
  • Spinal care – Spine Board and Cervical collars.
  • Asthma management – Ventolin puffer and spacer.
  • Splinting as required.
  • General first aid supplies as required and consumables covered in rate.
  • Portable communication devices will ensure staff are in constant contact.

First Aid for Events

Are you aware that if you are planning an event, where there is a gathering of people, whether it be a sporting or general event, that you as the event organiser have a duty of care to have appropriately qualified First Aid Officers in attendance to provide emergency first aid treatment.

The number of first responders required will of course depend on the event but a minimum level of emergency management capacity should be present.
